Wa​ter Safety vs. Operational Patrols

• Get your hours secured in water safety. Any ​Sunday from 7:30 AM - 10'ish
• M​inimum of 5 Nipper Patrols
• Attend other patr​ols to start ​meeting adult Club members

• Annual Skills Maintenance (Proficienc​y)
• Real rescues in a controlled and su​pported envir​onment

Cadet Pat​rol Vice Captain

• Sign patrollers in and out
• Communicate conditions
• Rotate posts
• H​elp run drills and rescues
  

As​sistant Age Manager

• Help the younger kids in and out of the water
• Teach the younger kids surf skills - yours are ​better than most of the adults!
• Basics of board paddling, safely navigating ​surf and catching waves
• J​ust encouraging the younger kids
  

Ju​st regular old Lifesaving

• It’s fine to just do your patrols and have fun
• You can turn up and sign on to any patrol at ​the​ Club (or even elsewhere if you want to)
